WORK EXPERIENCE

PHARMACY WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR

nufactor Pharmacy | Temecula, CA (8/2023 - Present )

With minimal supervision and as part of a small team, I help manage the daily operations of the nufactor pharmacy materials team by packing patient orders for shipment in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring all medications, supplies, and durable medical equipment are delivered to our patients safely and undamaged. Once my tasks are completed, or when additional help is needed, I support other sections of the materials team by receiving, counting, cleaning, and inputting durable medical equipment into CPR+ inventory. I also maintain the pharmacy warehouse in a clean and organized manner, ensuring accurate monthly inventory counts are submitted with no errors.

KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Since joining nufactor as a pharmacy warehouse coordinator, there have been zero HIPAA violations related to patient orders. If I come across any discrepancies during packing, I promptly notify a pharmacist to resolve the issue.

CUSTOMER SERVICE / CONTENT DEVELOPER

Take Pride Learning (Remote) | La Jolla, CA (6/2016 - 12/2022)

While working remotely in a small team, I developed marketing content using Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite and Microsoft Office. Together, our team brainstormed, created, and implemented training materials for over 200 students. As the content developer, I also fostered strong relationships with elementary school staff and college professors.

KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS

I utilized my web design skills to create, code, and launch an online program, The Digital Safari, within a WordPress site. This program helped Pre-K and Kindergarten students recognize letter sounds and names, a crucial step in learning to read.

Within just six months of launching the Digital Safari program, students at an elementary school in Las Vegas saw their literacy accuracy improve from an average of 26% to 100%.

OFFICE MANAGER / CUSTOMER SERVICE

JOYA Sangria (Remote) | Temecula, CA (2/2016 - 6/2016)

I oversaw the daily office operations of a small Sangria distribution company. While working remotely, I managed calls from customers, distributors, and sales representatives, and created marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite applications. Through effective verbal and written communication, I coordinated with our distributor in Spain to ensure shipment dates and bottle designs stayed on schedule and were not delayed.

KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Using web design skills I designed and coded an online ordering system that allowed sales reps to efficiently submit orders.

CAREER PLANNER | ADMINISTRATOR

United States Marine Corps (7/1993 - 8/2014)

I enlisted in 1993 as an Administrative Clerk and held positions of great responsiblity and integrity

through my 21 years in the Marine Corps:

– Security Guard at two (2) U.S. Embassies (Belgrade, Serbia & Mexico City, Mexico)

– Command Career Counselor

– Commanding General Inspector

– Career Counselor Instructor

– Career Counselor Supervisor

As a Command Career Counselor, I worked independently and acted as the representative for each Marine to the unit’s commanding officer. I utilized Microsoft Excel to track, contact, and interview Marines in units of over 300 personnel, either in person or by phone. During these interviews, I assessed whether the Marine wanted to remain in the Marine Corps, separate, change their Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), or enhance their career by applying for a Special Duty Assignment. If the Marine chose to stay, change their MOS, or apply for a Special Duty Assignment, I would screen them according to Marine Corps policies, collect their paperwork, and submit it up the chain of command for consideration. If the Marine opted to separate, I would schedule them for the required separation classes in accordance with Department of Defense policies.

Prior to retiring from the Marine Corps I was the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the military installation’s Commanding General. I managed the retention program for over 26,000 Marines in the Western Recruiting Region (WRR) by overseeing the accurate submittal of retention packets by 6 subordinate Career Counselors. I oversaw the monetary compensation process of more than $20 million paid annually to highly skilled Marines through reenlistment bonuses and developed briefs for senior executive leaders and delivered training sessions to thousands of Marines.

KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Using web design skills I designed, coded and maintained a website; an online version of the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) Manual, streamlining the annual counseling process.

Using Adobe’s Digital Publishing Suite (DPS) I designed and created an iPad application known as Marine Corps Product Knowledge replacing the outdated paper system.

Designed PDF document with JavaScript functionality to assist in counseling personnel expediting the screening process.
